Researcher Zhong-Shuai Wu is the principle investigator of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Group Leader of 2D Materials & Energy Devices and Ph.D Supervisor. His current scientific interests include graphene, two-dimensional nanomaterials, and advanced nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications, including supercapacitors (e.g., electric double layer capacitors, pseudocapacitors, lithium ion capacitors, asymmetric supercapacitors, hybrid supercapacitors), batteries (Li/Na/K/Al/Zn based batteries, Li-S batteries, all-solid-state batteries), flexible microscale energy storage devices, and catalysis (e.g., ORR, OER, HER).
Until now, he has published 100 peer-reviewed papers (IF>10, 55 papers) in Energy Environ. Sci., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Nano, etc, which have been cited more than 18000 times, 24 papers are currently ESI "Highly Cited Paper". In recent five years, he has published 71 peer-reviewed papers (IF>10, 36 papers), which have been cited more than 13000 times. H-index=43. Additionally, he has authored 2 book chapters, 30+ CN and EU patents, applied for an international standard 《IEC TS 62607-6-22-Determination of ash content of graphene by incineration》and presented more than 50+ Plenary, Keynote, Invited, and Oral talks.
